About Us
The team behind the Just Keep Pushin initiative is a diverse group of people and organizations that shares a common philosophy of persistance, perserverance and survival. Not suvival in the rugged build a shelter sense but survival in a this is a time in history when the strong learn to survive with the opportunities that exist. There are those that have cash and will do well regardless. There are more who through whatever circumstance have come to understand what it means to survive on a very minimal amount.
We believe that trite expression, 'When the going gets tough, the tough get going'. We are the tough that are surviving in this economy although it may be very minimalistically. We help and support each other and others. This is not about hand-outs. This is about getting by.
We want others to join us. Our members are not the people that have been living on welfare. There are programs and resources for those people. Our members are the struggling middle class - some just lost it all, some are the 'new homeless' - professionals and blue color, and some are the returning military veterans. The people that have skills, know how to use them but have fallen on hard times; hard times are not something they know or accustomed to handling. People who want to work, to earn a living but are finding it difficult adjusting to these hard times. Their comfort zone and norms are temporarily gone or unattainable.
We believe that if you, 'Just keep pushin', you will get by and find a new and better path, become a better person, with more knowledge and a stronger self-belief.
